I would like to see a thread where only serious issues are posted so people can see if there is a trend on SCAR problems or issues. I like many others here have had a serious problem with my factory new SCAR17s.
In short, the FNH SCAR17S is a perfectly viable solution to an existing problem for the military, but it doesn’t necessarily translate into a good firearm for civilians. It’s a cool firearm that’s fun to shoot, but save for a handful of very specific scenarios I just don’t see much of an application for it beyond that.

You can mitigate the Scar17sproblem with scopes by using the ADM Delta mount which is made specifically for the SCAR17S. I got mine from Liberty Optics. I have a Bushnell Tactical Elite on my SCAR17S and have not had any problems with the scope.
